About the Enactive Arts group
The Enactive Arts group's main focus is on the finding of novel methods of interaction for the creation of structurally coherent multimedia works and investigation into new generative structures for the development of disparate media. We are achieving this through the fusion of sensing systems to create a sophisticated and multimodal human movement sensing environment, the modeling of perceptually aware systems for creating semantic context, and the development of novel generative feedback mechanisms.
This work is being integrated with research areas in Movement Sensing, Pressure/Tangible Sensing (in particular the pressure sensitive floor) , Fusion and Sensor Networks, Feedback, Context Models and Fusion, and Resource Adaptation.
